Widely regarded as an ideal track for the leading stables to introduce their better prospects, it is therefore unsurprising that this attractive racecourse pulls in the crowds. Although meetings are spread between May and October, there is a heavy leaning towards fixtures during the summer and the two evening meetings are particular favourites amongst the locals.

Effect of the Draw

High numbers are definitely best in straight races when the ground is fast, but there's not much in it on softer going.
Concentrate on: the top eight stalls when 16+ runners in straight races (fast ground).

Food & Drink

The hospitality boxes are either situated in the top floor suite of the Members' Stand or beside the Winning Post. Rooms cost between £500-£925 and can accommodate up to 40 guests. Marquees are sited in attractive positions and can hold up 400 people. The cost of marquee start from £800.

The Bibury Suite, being only four miles from the city centre provides an ieal venue for conferences, seminars, meetings and exhibitions. Salisbury can tailor-make a race sponsorship package to suit your company's individual requirements. A race can be sponsored from as little as £1,500 + VAT. The package can include named association with one or more races, on and off-course advertising sites, advertising within the racecard and trophy presentation to winning connections of your race.

Directions to the Racecourse

Location
The racecourse is situated less than four miles from the centre of Salisbury.

By Road
The racecourse is located three and a half miles south-west of Salisbury on the A3094 Netherhampton Road. The main approach roads are the A360 and the A30.

By Rail
A free bus from Salisbury Station is in operation on all racedays.

By Air
Helicopter landing at the course is permitted with prior permission.

Parking
Car parking is free.
