A completely flat, oval circuit, Redcar is essentially a galloping track. The £100,000 Two-Year-Old Trophy run in October is without question the most valuable race staged at the course and regularly attracts a maximum field. The Zetland Gold Cup run at the Bank Holiday Meeting at the end of May is another popular fixture. |
