Acomb Stakes hero Waiter's Dream heads a select field of six declared for Saturday's Neptune Investment Management Champagne Stakes.

Brian Meehan's charge created quite an impression with his four-and-a-half-length verdict in last month's York heat but there is again plenty of competition in this Group Two contest.

Gimcrack victor and supplementary entry Approve takes his chance for William Haggas, while Godolphin's Saamidd takes a swift rise in class following his seven-length romp in a Newbury maiden.

The latter runner is already an early 20-1 favourite for next year's Derby at Epsom.

John Jenkins' Karam Albaari is unbeaten in his only start to date, with Richard Fahey's Waltz Darling and Michael Chapman's Castlemorris King completing the field.
