GG.COM's own Kevin O'Malley presents his list of horses to watch out for.
Killdunne (IRE) 6yo
Trainer: M Winters
A maiden hurdle winner waiting to happen, at which point he'll drop off the list for now. 2m4f is probably Ok for him on a sharpish track. A clean jumper that travels well, I'm convinced he would have won last time out had he been given less to do. His last three runs point solidly to him being read-made for a similar race before the month is out.
Pride Ofthe Parish (IRE) 9yo
Trainer: W P Mullins
Made a thoroughly pleasing hurdles debut behind Road To Riches last time out and what will prove to be an above average maiden because both of the pair are potentially very smart. This horse traveled with supreme ease and hurdled fluently throughout. I expect him to win his maiden next time and go on to much better things. He is built for fences in time.
Roc D'apsis (FR) 4yo
Trainer: T R George
Unbeaten on the flat in France, this tall and tidy individual looked the part when I saw him in the paddock at Cheltenham. He was well beaten behind Far West, but Roc d'Apsis acquitted himself nicely and can only improve. The race was run in a very slow time owing to the underfoot conditions and Tom George's juvenile can pay his way over timber this season for sure.
