Hamilton is a small track that has witnessed many improvements in recent years and its seven evening meetings are particularly well attended. The most popular fixture is the Saints & Sinners Charity Meeting in June. The going tends to be be on the soft side during the early-season fixtures and runners generally stick to the far rail.

Effect of the Draw

The draw didn't have as much of an effect in sprints last year, but you would still want to keep away from low numbers in big fields. High numbers continue to look best over 1m65yds. Cross out: the bottom six stalls when 14+ runners in races of up to 1m65yds.

Conference and Sponsorship
The Grandstand can cater for up to 500 people and can be increased to 8000 people if you use the whole Grandstand and the surrounding lawns and racecourse. Their are four main rooms which are ideal for conferences, exhibitions, product launches, private dinners, weddings and parties. In addition, there are 13 hospitality rooms on the second floor available for hire.

Hamilton Park is located just 15 minutes from Glasgow.

By Road
From the West M74 leave at Jct 5 and follow the racecourse signs. From the East M8 leave at Bellshill/East Kilbride exit A725 and follow the racecourse signs.

By Rail
Hamilton West Station is a 10 minute walk to the racecourse.

By Air
Nearest airport Glasgow and Cumbernauld.

Car and coach parking is free.
