Right then, I'll try & do this without getting the thread hidden by the gg moderating police, I seemingly did something wrong yesterday when posting in the football section, I'm not sure exactly what, I know I'm guilty of putting a lot of effort into what I do on here, not sure what else I'm guilty of.....
It's Windsor again tomorrow & I've looked at all the races again, not that much previous course form to go on but there is a bit & I think it will still be well represented, here are my views on the races at Windsor, as always do as you choose with them:
Windsor on Monday:
5.50 - maiden with only 5 runners, only one of them run before, no course form to go & so probably best left to course specialist trainer Richard Hannon who does very well in these races so CRYSTALIZED looks the call with Mick Channon's SENORITA GUEST a likely danger.
6.20 - very interesting 16 runner maiden here & one that might well produce something smart for the future as SIR JOHN HAWKWOOD won this last year & equally the very decent ALKIMOS won it the year before.
The likes of Sir Michael Stoute, Luca Cumani, Brian Meehan, Sir Henry Cecil, Hughie Morrison & Andrew Balding are all represented here with well bred contenders & they'll all think they've got a chance here, especially Cumani with JAZZ MASTER & Brian Meehan with LEGAL WAVES, they look the best of those that have already won & indeed JAZZ MASTER ran well at this course last time out.
Sir Michael Stoute & Sir Henry Cecil both rely on debutants here namely NORTHERN MEETING & GERTRUDE GRAY, they have to be respected & I'd say they join JAZZ MASTER & LEGAL WAVES as the most interesting contenders in this, LEGAL WAVES form has been boosted since & I'd have Brian Meehan's runner as the main pick with JAZZ MASTER as an each way shot.
6.50 - very interesting & tight looking 9 runner handicap to sort out here, HE'S A STRIKER is the only one with any decent course form having run very well for a long time last time out, I think there will be more to come so worth each way consideration.
Loads of very interesting contenders in this & tough to sort them out with confidence, perhaps Richard Hannon's WORLD RECORD will prove to be the best of them & likely to be very popular with punters given it's Hannon & Hughes combining at Windsor.
7.20 - This Listed mile contest is easily the best race of the night in terms of quality & certainly the most interesting to sort out, MONSIEUR CHEVALIER is the only with proven course form but that was a win over 5 furlongs so obviously not that relevant over this 1 mile trip.
FURY, RED DUKE & DON'T CALL ME are all very, very good horses on their day & certainly more than capable of winning this but the one to be on looks likely to be Richard Hannon's MONTIRIDGE judged on excellent form of his last run last season & he looks a very good prospect for this year.
7.50 - It's tough, competitive handicap time again as 13 do battle over the mile trip, there is no decent previous course form to work with here but course specialist Richard Hannon runs two & I think he's the one to focus on here.
Richard Hannon & Richard Hughes teamed up to win it last year and this time around they team up on EMULATING who has a chance on last times run behind Swing Easy who has won again since, Richard Hannon's other runner SAM SPADE will also be very popular & again has a firm form chance, of those two I'd rather be on EMULATING.
Others to consider in this race include POOR DUKE & BEAUTIFUL STORY as I believe they've both got more improvement in them as they gain more racing experience.
8.20 - A very tough handicap to finish off with, mainly inexperienced horses with only a few runs each & hard to evaluate all the formlines & work out which ones will improve the most, really tough call to make here.
IVANHOE finished ahead of PLUTOCRACY when they met over the course last year so they should be close together again this time, REFER ran ok in a maiden at this course & certainly looks to be improving while respect also has to be given to STRATEGIC STRIKE given how Paul Cole & Tom Queally combined on Saturday at Ascot.
hope that is of use to somebody, good luck with whatever you go for at Windsor, of course feel free to offer your own thoughts on Windsor as well
all the best
Tommy

Thanks for the input as always, especially this from Billy, turned out to be spot on:
"hello tommy . timeform 50 horses @windsor tonight.
6.20.Glorius Pprotector. large P 6.50.Greellys Love. 7.20.Guest of Honour. 8.20.Plutocracy. "
3 out of 4 won at 9/2, 11/4 & 11/4, brilliant stuff Billy I hope you backed them and indeed I hope a few others did as well.
regarding how my race previews worked out then it wasn't too bad at all, especially on nominating each way shots
6.20 - I highlighted that JAZZ MASTER had proven course form & was a lively each way shot so nice to see it finish 3rd at 20/1
6.50 - opening quote for this race was "very interesting & tight looking 9 runner handicap to sort out here, HE'S A STRIKER is the only one with any decent course form having run very well for a long time last time out, I think there will be more to come so worth each way consideration. "
Previous course form absolutely bang on the money as HE'S A STRIKER wins at 10/1
7.50 - for this race I said Richard Hannon was the one to concentrate on & indeed that "Richard Hannon & Richard Hughes teamed up to win it last year and this time around they team up on EMULATING who has a chance on last times run behind Swing Easy who has won again since, Richard Hannon's other runner SAM SPADE will also be very popular & again has a firm form chance, of those two I'd rather be on EMULATING. "
EMULATING won at 3/1, bigger available this morning
8.20 - for this race then I covered those with previous course form including "IVANHOE finished ahead of PLUTOCRACY when they met over the course last year so they should be close together again this time"
PLUTOCRACY won at 11/4 & IVANHOE was 2nd at 14/1, £43 forecast for the previous course form
I really do hope people took the time to read this & that it befitted you because once again the previous course form theory has been proven & also got fantastic contribution from Billy giving 3 of tonights winners at Windsor, gg.com members really should have had a very good time punting at Windsor today.
here's to the next Windsor meeting
all the best

Almost landed the place pot there tonight with the help of this thread. Montridge and Crowley's mount in the first, both 8/11 missing out on a place by prob a half length combined cost me. Typical that it would be the 2 shortest priced in the place pot to let it down. Great analysis though tommy. Keep it up.

Hello Richard, I've just been looking at the card for Windsor tomorrow & I have to say it looks really boring & quite poor in terms of quality or interest, only the last 2 races interest me with maidens & a 3 horse race although admittedly THUNDER STRIKE could be a potential star for Hannon & should be at least worth watching win by several lengths.
NORTH STAR BOY will be expected to win the first although I'd personally like to see BIRD DOG run very well for Phil McEntee & Danny Brook as I've met them both & they are both cracking blokes, HANNON can also win the 6.40 with MIDNITE ANGEL.
GOLD CHAIN & SPICY DAL look the 2 too concentrate on in the 7.40 maiden.
As I said the only 2 races that really interest me are the 8.10 & 8.40 because there is some relevant, proven previous Windsor form to go on, Hannon's pair DUKE OF CLARENCE & ALDWICK BAY along with SULA TWO are the only runners with course form & personally I'd say they are the ones to concentrate on with my preference given to DUKE OF CLARENCE as he was entered to run at York last week & was fancied but I believe they got wind that SIR JOHN HAWKWOOD was a good thing for that & didn't want to risk running to get placed at best on soft ground, I believe he will relish the 1 mile 4f trip & should improve for it in my opinion.
The 8.40 gets my vote as the most interesting race on the card at Windsor as there are some fairly exciting progressive sprinters on show with the likes of proven course & distance winner EXOTIC ISLE, RISKIT FORA BISKIT, HOOFALONG & SAGA LOUT, I firmly believe the winner & places will come from that lot and I'd have preference for RISKIT FORA BISKIT given how well smoothtalkinrascal boosted the form last week, although I will say EXOTIC ISLE & HOOFALONG will not be easy to beat either.
FRONT PAGE NEWS is the other runner with proven previous course form having won at the course in the past, that might well enable her to run a bigger race than the big odds suggest.
They are my thoughts on Windsor for tomorrow & hopefully people find them useful in some way, I won't be around to offer any thoughts for Windsor next week so good luck
all the best

I was at Sandown for Riskit's last race and it won comfortably. Smoothtalkin got stuck in a p[ocket but Hayley was long gone. It's previous run it'd got loose beforehand...so it's a bit flighty in the prelims. Still a bit green in the run too but I can't see it getting beat tomorrow evening. It has a great draw with Exotic Isle being it's biggest danger. I just think it's bit special and I reckon may have an Ascot race in it if it performs well tomorrow.
You're right though the rest of the card is pretty grim especially the three runner race where there's £9k up for grabs.....

2 noses, that's all it was, a nose defeat for DUKE OF CLARENCE in the 8.10 & a nose defeat for RISKIT FORA BISKIT in the 8.40, 2 little bits of horse flesh stop me highlighting 6 winners from 6 at Windsor.
typically for me the only two actual Windsor bets I had were those two mentioned above, I didn't bother with the others as they were a bit too short for my liking, now those 2 defeats did annoy me a bit but nowhere near as much as a friend of mine who does follow what I do & he had NORTH STAR BOY, MIDNITE ANGEL, THUNDER STRIKE, SPICY DAL, DUKE OF CLARENCE & RISKIT FORA BISKIT in a 50p win lucky 63 + a £1 win acca, he's ended up being 2 noses from a hell of a lot of money, weird really as he's got 4 winners up & it still pays nicely but he feels gutted about missing the other 2, thankfully for him he did chuck £2 on a placepot line as well & so at least he'll get a bit more back, might even encourage him to get me a beer or 3 next time I see him!!!
The motivation for setting this Windsor thread up was to highlight something that I believed would prove worthwhile & useful for gg members, thankfully it has done for the last few years & continues to do so, I just hope as many people as possible logged on again this week & took notice as I genuinely do get more pleasure from people winning of my selections & thoughts than I do if I win myself, when I worked in the bookies I used to love talking to the punters & offering a few tips/ideas and I loved it when they came good, firstly to see them happy & secondly to take some cash off Ladbrokes lol!!!
I won't be around for next Monday's Windsor meeting as I'm on holiday & I don't know if I'll have chance to cover the meeting the week after either as I'll be busy that weekend I get back from holiday, but hopefully you'll remember to sift through the form & look for those with previous, proven course form at Windsor, look for the trainers that excel there ie Richard Hannon & hopefully smash the winners again
all the best
Tommy
