No Personal Attacks
GG.COM believes that all our users should enjoy being part of this community. It is acceptable, as part of a reasoned discussion or debate, to attack a person's opinions, or challenge their beliefs. But attacking individuals on a personal level is a violation of their right to enjoy GG.COM and will not be tolerated.
Advertisement Policy
The GG.COM Forum provides a dedicated area for advertisements. Within the context of this area, it is permissible for users to advertise links and services provided they are related to horse racing and are limited to a single post only. Additional posts will be deleted. Off-topic advertisements (advertisements that are not directly related to horse racing) will not be tolerated, nor will advertisements considered by GG.COM to offer "rival" services. Advertising outside of the designated area is strictly prohibited.
No Swearing
Tolerance to swearing, cursing and other profanity varies from person to person and what you feel is acceptable may not be considered acceptable by others. As such, GG.COM asks its users to be aware of the effect their language may have.
Unacceptable Conduct
GG.COM will not tolerate racist, sexist or other discriminatory comments, nor will GG.COM tolerate the use of its forums to promote illegal activities.
'Info' Threads
From Monday 9 Jan 2012, threads based upon; inside information, advice from contacts or hunches that are not supported by any form of reasoning or justification should be placed in the Horse Racing Tips section of the Forum, here: http://www.gg.com/forum/index.php?id=14, and not in other areas of the Forum.
If such tips are placed anywhere else, but in the Horse Racing Tips section, they run the risk of being deleted or hidden.
Multiple Identities
It is not permitted for individual to use simultaneous multiple IDs when using this forum. Where such activity is discovered, IDs will be deactivated.
Closed or deleted topics
It is the policy of GG.COM not to publicly discuss its moderation decisions. If the topic you are participating in is deleted, closed or otherwise subject to moderation, please do not post messages asking why. In cases of extreme or repeated violation of the forum rules, GG.COM is able, at its discretion, to remove access to the forums from any user on either a temporary or permanent basis. That said, we at GG.COM pride ourselves on listening to the needs and views of our users; if you feel you have been unfairly treated, please contact us via email.
Non Compliance
In its absolute discretion, GG.COM reserves the right to withhold permission to contribute to this forum from individuals who break these rules. We will attempt to inform individuals when their permissions have been withdrawn and for how long this may be – minor offenses will attract short periods without and more serious offenses will attract longer bans. Serial offenders run the risk of having their permissions permanently removed.
