I was at the match and we were terrible first half but decent 2nd half....dont think we deserved to be beat 4-0 mind as we did hit the post and bar. A shocking stat is that is the 4th time we have conceded 4 or more goals in a league match this season and they have all been away from home!
Still a happy Geordie!

Cheers for your opinions, always love to know what the fans involved are thinking, I must say I was totally shocked with that scoreline & it ruined all my accas so I'm not very happy with the Geordies!!!
In saying that the best man at my wedding was a Geordie & I will love the Geordies forever if they stop City winning next weekend, I fear that United may get beat by City & it will need Newcastle to stop them, they beat United 3-0 at home in fine style so I'm wanting the same for City!!!
COME ON NEWCASTLE!!! COME ON NEWCASTLE!!!

not only that mate, i know newcastle are a top team, they have a great squad reason i had them in me own accumulator cause i thought theyd win, was completely shocked when it was 4-0 at the end, never would of seen it coming, you could give me a million quid and i still would of put it on doubles and trebles for newcastle to win by 2-3 goals ha
never thought wigan had it in them ha but still cant complain it wasnt a boring a match

Our problem yesterday was we got caught out by a team bang in form. I know we had won 6 on the bounce but it is very rare for a team to do that in the prem these days and even more so for Newcastle. Add into the mix that if we had got a result it would of been the first time since 2001 we would have won 3 away games in a row! Therefore the stats werent supporting a Newcastle win.
As for the coming fixtures i feel we have a reallygood chance against chelsea as they have the cup final to think of this weekend so that could have a big impact on their team selection. Man city at home is a difficult game to call at the moment as tomorrows result will be a huge factor in the way city will play newcastle. I feel that if they lose tomorrow then they might play very attacking against newcastle to gain a reaction but if they win i feel they might play a bit defensive in order to hit us on the break which will suit our style. All in all it promises to be a great finish to the season and will be one of my fav prem seasons ever!

ive backed chelsea to beat newcastle :P with chelseas form
and half of chelseas players not being able to play in the final vs bayern munich id say they will have a very attacking line up vs newcastle
should be a close game one to watch

Bad luck with the Newcastle result, Tommy. But, yeah, I kinda knew.
As I've said more than once on these forums, this is what Wigan do. Every season, without fail. Buggers. Wolves can only look on with envy. And Roberto Martinez is a vastly underrated manager, if only he could get his players stoked in October and November the way he does in April.

| Best of luck, Dean Saunders. You're going to need every ounce of it. |

Tonight:
Man City, Sporting Lisbon, Lens, Silkeborg. 1pt stake returns 12.84.
Best bet: Sporting home against Academica, whose league record is 0-5-8 in their last 13. Sporting have won the last 9 at home in a row, and can still catch Braga for the final Champions League spot. Can't lose, surely?

over 11 corners is only 5/6
was expecting at least evens or 15/8 for that

My thoughts on the City vs United game didn't go well, I was banking on Fergie making it hard for City but it made it far too easy for them having to only beat 9 men from the start, Giggs & Park are useless now, sentiment doesn't win matches or trophies.
Anyway, in my opinion there are still a whole series of massively important matches that mean as much to the fans involved as the City vs United game did tonight & they are indeed fascinating games worth looking at.
I've posted my views on the remaining midweek Premier League & Championship Play-Off matches at
http://www.bettingpreview.co.uk/blog/category/pr emiership/
from that I've done the following Midweek Multiple:
HEINZ + acca:
TOTTENHAM CHELSEA Liverpool vs Fulham Draw Stoke vs Everton Draw WEST HAM Blackpool vs Birmingham City Draw
small stakes punt, anything can happen in those games & I've obviously taken a risk in going for the draws in 3 of them but it's how I personally view the games may well go & they are the picks that look value to me.
That will be it for me until the weekend in terms of betting, no more horses or football bets until Saturday, hopefully that lot goes well so I've got something to take the bookies on with at the weekend.
All the best & good luck with whatever you do
Tommy
