born in walthamstow east london( worked three times on the the tote at the "stow"goodwood of greyhound racing imo.now a building site!!!!!!!!!)worked for most of my life in the music industry(polygram)made redundent in 1988 ( onset off compact disc,still prefer vinyl!!)
then 4years for a lift company boring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!not worked full time since made redundent from there 1992---had heart bypass surgery 1999--moved to hunstanton norfolk in nov.2000 lost my second wife to throat cancer 7months later,met my current partner Pat there in 2004,and moved here (withernsea) in june 2005
starting picking out horses when i was 12,my dad who only did the football pools before i came along,went into a betting shop for the first time to put bets on my selections(patient bet )three years later we went on holiday to margate put a super yankee on when we got there all 5 won and it paid for the weeks holiday!!so have been betting for nearly 50 years-----only made a profit the last 6 years due to more time to do my own ratings hence( roysratings)
