An extremely popular National Hunt track with more than a modicum of charm, Fontwell is one of only two racecourses run over a figure-of-eight circuit. Total refurbishment of all grandstands began in 1998 resulting in vastly improved facilities for racegoers. Although the racing lacks true quality, the friendly atmosphere and South-East coast weather more than compensate.

Food & Drink
The Members' Restaurant is located behind the Grandstand. There are seven public bars on site offering food and drink.

Free admission for children under 16 accompanied by an adult.

Disabled friendly Info
The Tattersalls and Members Enclosure have facilities for the disabled. The Picnic Car Park is £6.00 per person and if you have a Disabled Car Park Badge you will not have to pay the £5.00 per car admission.

Corporate Info
Corporate hospitality packages can be tailored to suit your requirements. A typical package comprising a private box, members' badges, car parking, racecard and a four-course meal with coffee and biscuits on arrival will cost £50 plus VAT per head.

Conference and Sponsorship
The newly built Kerman Stand contains the first floor entertainment suite and terrace, accommodating up to 200 people for a buffet-style event.

Directions to the Racecourse

Location
The racecourse is located on the Fontwell Road between Arundel and Chichester.

By Road
The course is south of the village at the junction of the A29 (Bognor) and A27 (Brighton-Chichester) roads.

By Rail
Barnham Station has a bus service costing £1.00 per person that runs from the station to the course on racedays one and a half hours before the first race.

By Air
Helicopter landing in the centre of the course requires prior notice.

Parking
The cost for parking in the Silver Ring and Centre Course is £4.00. All other car parks are free of charge.
