Folkestone
Folkestone An attractive country venue, Folkestone is situated four miles west of the Kent port. Although the racing is of average quality, the facilities for a small course are above average and meetings attract knowlegeable crowds. One of the principal racedays is the United Hunts Meeting in May, an evening fixture for amateur riders that draws big crowds from the world of point-to-pointing.
Effect of the Draw
When all the runners stay near the stand rail in straight races, there isn't much of a bias, but when a jockey is sharp enough to go for the far side he often has an advantage.
Concentrate on: the top four stalls in races of up to 7f when 14+ runners.

Accompanied children under 16 are free of charge.

Disabled friendly Info
A car parking area has been reserved for disabled racegoers. The Club Grandstand area has a lift to the restaurant and boxes.

Corporate Info
Folkestone's corporate entertaining suites can accommodate parties from 8-100 persons. The suites overlook the racecourse and have easy access to the Winners' Enclosure and Parade Ring. Please Tel: 0870 2200023 for a range of package details.

Conference and Sponsorship

Location
Folkestone Racecourse is located four miles west of the Kent port.

By Road
The racecourse is just off junction 11 of the M20 near to Westenhangar Station.

By Rail
Westenhanger Station adjoins the course. There are frequent trains running from Charing Cross and Victoria.

By Air
A Landing Pad is available with prior permission.

Parking
Coach and car parking is free of charge except the Picnic Park which is £5.00 per car and £4.00 per Adult occupant.
