2.15 Southwell:
Five of the six winners have carried weights of 8-8 or more in this three-year-old handicap event which eliminates the bottom two runners in the race if you take the stats seriously.
The pick of the relevant eight horses who emerge from the 'superior weight' stats will hopefully prove to be MAGILINI, WISH AGAIN and LOOK AT ME NOW.
David Barron (MAGILINI) had saddled four of his last seven runners to winning effect at the time of writing, whilst WISH AGAIN makes his all weather debut. LOOK AT ME NOW remains relatively unexposed following just five assignments to date.
4.15 Southwell:
There are not too many maiden handicaps throughout the season whereby this event could develop into an interesting contest.

All Sunday's meetings have been lost to bad weather and the next scheduled 3YO handicap event is at Southwell on Tuesday. Keep dry and warm.....catch you soon.

1.20 Lingfield:
Not too many people seemingly want to lay BETTY BROOK (N/R) on her handicap debut, even though more likely winners in the field appear to be RUSSIAN BULLET (N/R) and MISTER MACKENZIE (2nd 11/8).
We still await the first successful favourite in this event following three renewals. All three market leaders have finished out with the washing thus far.
3.30 Lingfield:
Although MODERATOR appears to be a worthy favourite, the powerful yards of Roger Varian (SHABORA--WON AT 9/2) and Jeremy Noseda (BIBA DIVA) are represented which makes this a race to watch with an eye to the future, rather than a contest in which to become financially involved.

4.50 Wolverhampton:
MEET JOE BLACK is seldom far away at the business end of contests whilst similar comments apply to AUNTIE KATHRYN (N/R) and both horses will represent a little value for money in my book.
MISS CATO (3RD 9/2) and GABRIAL'S KING (2ND 10/11) obviously attract most attention but at least one of the pair is due to get beaten, outside of a dead heat result in the finale.

6.20 Kempton:
TUIBAMA (N/R) and GONE BY SUNRISE make their handicap debuts in this event and have been well placed by connections to give them every chance of succeeding.
LIQUID SUNSHINE is not one to rely on wholeheartedly despite his course victory here at Kempton last week, especially from a less than perfect stall position.
6.50 Kempton:
FOUR BETTER (WON AT 8/1) cannot be completely ignored from an each way perspective, albeit more logical winners include SUNNY SIDE UP (N/R) and TENBRIDGE (2ND 7/2--EXACTA: 50/1).
I nominated a 5/1 Richard Fahey runner to winning effect on Monday and SUNNY SIDE UP (N/R) could repeat the trick in this moderate event.
