AL MAHMEYA looks by far the safest option here, she made a promising start to her polytrack career when chasing home Godolphin's Mahkama on her penultimate start here at Kempton and is taken to make a winning return tonight.
The Richard Hannon trained filly narrowly failed to overcome, Pussycat Dream, on her last outing but this looks an ideal to make amends, she can claw back some of the cash her followers lost when sending her off as odds on favourite at Nottingham back in July.
Riot Of Colour looks an interesting newcomer for trainer Ralph Becket, a nicely bred filly she looks one to watch in the market and should go well with Jim Crowley in the saddle, Show Flower is the most experienced runner in the field and is another that could go well if learning to settle a little better than she has thus far.
The Conor Dore trained gelding, EFISTORM, is taken to notch up a belated course double after his win here back in April.
A largely consistent level of form since then, on both turf and polytrack, saw him finish runner-up twice before capping a seventeenth career win when trotting home a comfortable winner at Windsor last time out.
The fact that he now boasts course figures of 4/7 down at Windsor makes him an obvious notebook entry for any future appearances at that venue but he is just as effective on this surface and indeed at this track.
A decent horse at this level, he can usually be relied upon to give it his best shot and he looks the safest option here under the guidance of the very attractive and equally capable jockey, Kirsty Milczarek.

The change of stall numbering at tracks in Britain means that Kempton Park will now join most other racecourses around the world and number stalls from the inside, the change will also effect Ascot, Beverley, Carlisle, Folkestone, Kempton, Leicester, Musselburgh, both Newmarket courses, Ripon and Sandown - are being designated right-handed, along with Goodwood, Hamilton, Salisbury and Windsor, even though those four racecourses include left-handed turns.
Whilst some will see the change as unimportant, the rest of us will bid a fond farwell to what was a unique feature of this popular dual-code course and see the change as a positive one and will make life easier as British racing bids to catch the attention of a worldwide audience, of course Kempton is still the only right-handed AW course in the UK.

The fact that four of the last five winners of this race have been six year-olds brings Nice Style firmly into the equation; he has excellent form at this venue, including a C&D win on his last appearance, and he has to be on the shortlist despite his wide draw, Steve Drowne takes the ride.
The most likely to be sent off as the race "jolly" is Nideeb. A win here today would see him notch up a C&D hat-trick. Stepped up in trip on his most recent start, he coped very well and was only beaten by a narrow margin by Cheetah in a listed race at Kempton Park last November.
A lot will depend on how he returns to the fray after what is quite a lengthy break (119 days) but, in trainer Clive Brittain, he represents a leading yard and the probability is that he will come back rejuvenated and a danger to all; stamina will not be a problem and very much one to consider with Paul Robinson in the saddle.

A tricky opener at Dunstall Park and, on paper at least, several runners appear to be in with a shout. Cape Of Storms has been in great form of late on the fibresand surface at Southwell, his form at this venue is less inspiring but he deserves consideration.
Lake Chini returned from a break to run, WELCOME APPROACH, close in a short-head finish here last month, he looks sure to be involved again but similar outcome is predicted again today.
The narrow vote then goes to the John Weymes trained, Welcome Approach, he has a further 2lb penalty to overcome but is taken to go in again today and notch up a C&D hat-trick.
The bravest of punters may consider a small each-way punt on Athaakeel who is far from consistent but went well here last time out and all four of her wins have been at 20/1 or greater.

YOUR GIFTED could hardly be described as a "prolific winner" but she has been turning in some very consistent performances of late, mostly at Southwell and finally got her nose in front back on polytrack at Lingfield last time where she looked a convincing winner.
The draw could have been kinder, but she is thriving at present and has to come into the reckoning here, a fast pace would be a welcome bonus and she is taken to overcome a 4lb penalty and go in again today.
CARNAC is another that has been campaigning mostly on Southwell's fibresand surface of late and ran out a cosy winner on his penultimate start; he could be called unlucky not to have notched a C&D double there but found the better handicapped ,William's Way, too strong earlier this month.
