Beverley
Beverley Situated within walking distance of the historic market town, Beverley is a small, friendly track that proves very popular with the locals. A tough, right-handed circuit with an uphill climb to the finish of three furlongs, the course often finds out those with insufficient stamina levels. The five-furlong races often attract several decent juveniles that go on to prove themselves at a far higher level later in the season. With good facilities and a buzzing atmosphere, Beverley's three evening meetings are particularly well attended.
Effect of the Draw
You have got to be drawn high on fast ground, both over 5f and on the round course, up to 1m100yds. On soft ground, everything changes and low numbers are favoured.
Concentrate on: (fast ground) the top four stalls over 5f, the top six stalls over 7f100yds and 1m100yds (soft ground) and the bottom four stalls over 5f in races with 10+ runners.

Free admission for children under 16.

Wheelchair access is available in the Club and Tattersalls Enclourse. Admission for one carer and one wheelchair is only charged for one person.

Private boxes are available with balconies, closed circuit tv, racecards and P.A for race commentary.

Conference and Sponsorship
Beverley Racecourse is ideal to hold banquets, seminars, meetings, seasonal parties, conferences, functions and wedding receptions.

Other Information
Jeans and T-shirts are not permitted in the Club Enclosure.

Directions to the Racecourse

Location
The racecourse is situated high on the famous Westwood, just to the west of the historic Minster town on the York Road.

By Road
Seven miles from the M62 (Jct 38) off the A1035.

By Rail
Beverley Station is located approximatley one mile from the course and a bus service runs between the station and the racecourse.

By Air
Landing pad available with prior permission.

Parking
Car and coach parking is free and can be found opposite the course.
